私の活動の一部をご紹介します。

Some of my activities are listed below.

To celebrate the retirement of a professor who had been a close friend of mine, I wrote a calligraphy in front of everyone.

It was a joint work of the sculpture professor, the chainsaw art teacher, and myself, a calligrapher.
I am very happy that he was so pleased with my work.

It was produced on request.『唯一無二』

唯一無二 —— Yuiitsu-Muni ——meaning : There is no alternative, there is only one, or the degree of excellence is so outstanding that there is no other comparable product.

It was produced on request.『常勝軍団』

『常勝』meaning : always winning.
This hanging scroll was made to present to a forward-looking laboratory that continues to fight aggressively.
It was produced in response to a request.

This work was mounted by a proud Japanese craftsman.
As you can see, the work is very beautiful down to the smallest detail.
It is only when a calligrapher and a mounting craftsman communicate with each other that they are able to create such a work of art.
For this reason, it is very important for the calligrapher and the mounting craftsman to communicate with each other.

ART WORK

星 ——star——

I expressed stars twinkling in the night sky.

I was inspired by looking at the stars shining in the night sky.
I melted wax, wrote the characters, and then applied carefully rubbed Japanese matsumo sumi ink to make the characters come to the surface.
This is a change of conception and a traditional Japanese ink is used to express the idea.
The wax hardens, creating a three-dimensional topography on the surface.
The expression changes depending on the way the light hits it.

In Japan, there is a culture of celebrating milestone years such as 77th, 88th, 99th, etc.
As such gifts, I carefully write congratulations on colored paper.
